Meaks
Curry Club at Wetherspoons on a Thursday. Curry, rice, poppadoms, mango chutney, nan bread and a drink for £4.99. Will never be the best meal you've ever had but it's pretty damn good for the money.

SarahT
Crosspool Tavern on Manchester Road is fantastic value for money. We paid less than a fiver for a huge carvery and drinks. Will certainly be going back. Staff were really friendly too. Tried the Taybarn too, it was good, we got there at 4:55 so got their cheap price as it goes up at 5pm! Farslad
I've found the food in The Old House on Division Street to be both really good in quality and value. Pretty sure they had some stuff for around a fiver on their menu.
