Titanic99
Can anyone answer a query for me from todays budget. Exactly which Departments are to be cut by 25% over the next 4 years, does it include the MOD, Education and the Civil Service. In real terms, does this mean we are going to be making members of the Armed Forces redundant?
hitch_1980
Health and Foreign aid are the only ones exempt.

Dennistist
Health and Foreign aid are the only ones exempt. Hopefully that will keep them out of England, but I still hate paying it.
daftlad
why should foreign aid be exempt, when we are in enough finanacial poo in our own country, we should not be helping others
Daven
Health and Foreign aid are the only ones exempt. Don't believe this for a moment - the NHS will be fleeced by the Tories - mark my words. Enjoy it while you can - it's all downhill from here I'm afraid.

Titanic99
It wasn't unexpected. I'm very surprised that the Armed Forces will be cut when we are fighting a war.
