What can I do about bad breath

Recommended Posts

Spicy foods or with a lot of garlic but bad breath is usually caused by food lodged between the teeth which is not removed by brushing alone. You have to floss and the other thing is that these small particles of food which remain lodged between the teeth can lead to gum disease which you should avoid at all costs

it feels like its coming up from my belly rather then from my mouth or food in my teeth. it can smell right after iv brushed my teeth!!!

OK, back to serious.- If you are aware of the problem immediately after you've brushed your teeth, that may be because you have dislodged some partially-rotted food which was lodged below your gumline. Go and see a dentist. Get your teeth cleaned and ask your dentist whether you should see a periodontist... expensive, but worth it.

if that the case then maybe you should see a doctor as you may have at least one of a range of rather unpleasant illnesses

If you are on a diet or changed your eating plans you could be detoxing and that causes bad breath (do you drink a lot of booze or take drugs?)

If it is really bad all the time you could have gum disease or be very dehydrated.

Grow 3 or 4 mint plants on the windowsills, they are relatively cheap and means you can re-use the same bit of gum, you just wash it put it in the fridge, take it out the following morning, pull a few leaves off the mint plant, then chew the leaf into the gum, when the flavour has run out.
