The Giraffe
HI Wow - thanks for the suggestions! and wow again Medusa.... something for every occasion! Yes - this is for a home first aid kit I did go on a course a few years ago, so I have a basic understanding of first aid - But after always running out of paracetomal at home and having no lemsips in I thought I'd pick people's brains as to what exactly would be good to keep in! Lorri
I don't keep any medication in our first aid kit, they're all in a kitchen cupboard. Always keep paracetamol, antihistamines, cough medicine and lemsips in, and maybe ibruprofen and sudafed tablets.
Agent Orange
I got lots of NATO field dressings in my first aid kit... courtesy of the MOD. They are useful
whitewitch
Better to be safe than sorry SHshef - it only needs a little nick on your hand to infect or be infected. Plus they come in handy for cleaning the loo if you can't find rubber gloves! A man that cleans the loo
Forumosaurus
Why on earth would you need lemsip in a First Aid kit?
gina2007
First aid kit? Plasters, bandages, tape, small scissors and alcohol wipes. But, I have a box in the cupboard with various paracetemol, paramol, ibuprofen, allergy tabs, cold tabs, lemsips, strepsils, cough medicine, calpol (usually a few bottles!) bottle of clove oil - we're prone to toothache at 3am.
