Jailed for posting on an internet forum!

Recommended Posts

Well in that case the law is an ass. If the law says there are certain thoughts you're not allowed to think and opinions you're not allowed to state then there's something badly wrong with our society.

The law does not say that. You're quite free to believe that all Jews should be exterminated; you're even free to post on the internet saying so.

If you start encouraging people to murder Jews, you're guilty of incitement to murder and will be jailed accordingly.

So are you saying you agree with them, or you just think they should have the right to encourage people to murder innocent people because of their race or religion?

It says a lot about the mentality of these two men that they are full of hate towards certain races making wild generalisations (leeches) and would destroy these people not even without exceptions - their hate says a lot about the dispositions of people like them and the judgement of the people who would support them.

Here's a worrying sign that despite getting rid of Labour, we still seem to be edging towards a police state. Two men have been jailed for 2 years simply for posting messages on an internet forum.

Of course their posts were racist and inflammatory but surely people within a free society have the right to express their opinions, however distasteful?

I'm all for freedom of expression right up to the point at which other people are put at serious risk or physical harm, these scumballs over stepped the mark.

Dispite the ugly things they said it is their right to believe what they want. Now if they put these thoughts into action then thats a whole different kettle of fish.
