roggert
hi apart from george lambert v.c. the last member of the "charge of the light brigade " is also interred in wardsend -the v.c.'s were made of the canon from this campaign. His grave was also the first in england to have an enamelled plate on the gravestone to draw attention to his heroism and his miserable end as after recovering from his injuries in the crimea, he drowned when the ship carrying him home sank!!!! there are also several tomb stones in hilllsborough park commemorating the theft of several corpses including a child's by grave robbers!!!!!!
