mumsy
I used to work at Ash House at Dore, a big old building built for William Robinson in 1913/1915 I think. Does anyone know of its history? I worked there when it was owned by the council between 1988-93. I believe it was left to the council and has been used as a convalescent home for children in the 40/50's, a holiday home in the late 70's/80's and a residential home for older people since. Can anyone fill in the gaps please? Do you have any knowledge of the history of Ash House, did you work there? Did you see any ghosts? I certainly had a few strange experiences!!! mumsy
