Babooshka
Someone stole my time and energy, but to be honest, in the end, it only gave me more lust for life, an alternative sense of humour. Good one!
Steptoad
Home made CDs. Stolen from my car, no resale value, doubtful they would've been the thief's taste in music. Trouble is the tealeaf disabled my alarm, then bent the door back to get to them and broke the window in the process. I don't get that. I had a single home made CD nicked at at pub I was in. In fact I had a bunch of CDs nicked out of my car when it went for MOT one time too.

mj.scuba
Lead, £100 or so, £50 to replace via insurance premium. However it created work, for the police, courts, a roofer, telephone companies, royal mail, energy companies etc. The £50 loss to me, allowed many to earn a legitimate income, even the thief profited. The cost being bore by myself mainly, and also other taxpayers and the insurance companies (who run for profit and thus in turn, people with insurance). Being a victim of theft and losing out were myself and the taxpayer, whilst some benefited; the thief, the criminal justice system, utility companies, the insurance company and an honest tradesman along with the wider economy where their profit was spent. I feel as if the lead thieves should be forced to repay the money loss incurred by myself and the taxpayer. Theifs are a vital part of the economy then? Think where we'd be without them. horribleblob
Most recent thing stolen was a litre of engine oil. Had my car serviced in February. Was charged for oil but weeks later noticed that a full bottle of oil I'd left in the boot was strangely empty. Cheeky so-and-sos at the garage and silly-billy Blob for leaving it in the car. SHsheff
Have you had something stolen recently? What was it worth or what was the cost of replacement? Why are you asking?
