Micky ET Posted July 6, 2010 Share Posted July 6, 2010 For the last few months my gas bill has been around £50 pm but has suddenly gone up to 77pm after the last Reading last week.We (up until this summer) had the heating on 6hrs a day and the hot water 2 hrs a day.We have a standard oldish boiler with hot water tank in the loft and live in an old 3bed semi. Does this seem like a normal bill to you? Ps my electric has been pretty much £44 pm throughout the year so therefore a combined bill of around 120 pm from 90 pm . YOu need to look at the efficiency of your heating system and possibly up grade it !! this could save you upto 40% on your gas bills I can offer a free quotes and advice on these matters also is your loft /cavity wall insulation upto date ?
