GQsm Posted July 5, 2010 Share Posted July 5, 2010 I went to the Jazz evening for the third year running, it never blows me away but is always pleasant enough. I go with friends to have a picnic, catch up and listen to a little live music in a nice environment. I paid no booking fee from the Botanical Gardens shop and got tickets well in advance as it is never unpopular and to expect it not to sell out is to risk not getting a ticket. The proceeds go to local charities, I'm surprised at the amount of negativity on here, quite saddening really with so many people eager to stick the boot in on a fund raising event for good local causes. Nice music, lovely setting great atmosphere, decent weather always help. got tickets ages ago, appears to have been first come first served?
