Tyranna
A couple of weeks ago, I heard that Affinity is going to be under new management from Mid-July; Since it reopened after moving from Campo Lane, it has been reasonably successful, though mainly with standard DJ nights much like the Lions Lair. From the new flyers that I picked up during Sheffield Pride, though, the new management have some exciting new things planned, including an event with live entertainment at the end of the month. Watch this space for more details as news becomes available. Sheffield's Gay Scene undoubtedly does need at least one venue with regular, i. e. weekly LIVE entertainers (Not just drag, but all kinds of LGBT entertainment) and hopefully Affinity will go a long way to filling that gap, as is the case with live venues in the Gay villages in Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, etc.
