Tony
These days lots of homes have laser and ink jet printers and people print far more than the need to. The carbon footprint from a single home printer - manufacturing the printer, the electricity, paper and toner consumed - can be up to 16 tonnes of carbon per year. Kids, do you bit for the environment and encourage your parents to avoid printing stuff out unless absolutely necessary.
*Wallace*
I would think it would be kids printing more unnecessary things than the parents who buy the ink.

Guest
Why are you trying to encourage kids to tell their parents specifically? Surely this should apply to everyone if you're wanting people to stop.
Karis
Be careful. Laser printers can be deadly in the wrong hands!
vwkittie
Forummers, please do your bit for the environment by telling Tony to switch of his computer. This could save up to 6 megatonnes of threads from being created every day. Remember, every time a pointless thread is created, god blows up an orphan kitten sanctuary. Rupert_Baehr
Don't forget! - If you get the toner from a laser printer on your hands, wash it off immediately.
