The ecu 'kit' is probably the cheapest option as your basically fitting the immobiliser components from anothe running car. However you need to ensure the 'kit' you buy has the same options as your car ie elec windows, aircon, petrol or Diesel engine etc otherwise you'll have warning lights and false codes been stored..
