Sooooo.

There's a Jew, a Muslim, and a fella from Sheffield on a hiking holiday together.

Night time they can't find a room with tmore than two beds but the hotel tell tell 'em old farmer george accross the way has a crib in his barn they can use.

The Jew, being the fine upstanding fella they are, volunteered to sleep in the barn.

10 mins after they all turned in, there was a knock on the hotel door and the Jew was standing there. "there's a pig in the Barn" he said, "I cant sleep in there"

So the Muslim say's Ok, I'll go sleep in the barn.

10 mins later there's a knock on the door again. The Muslim is stood there and say's "there's a Cow in the barn, I can't sleep in there".

Sooo! the Sheffielder say's, as they do, "Ok you whimps, I'll sleep in the Barn" and off he goes.

10 mins later there's a knock on the door again. They open it ...............

and there's a cow and a pig stood there. !

It's four in the afternoon over in the UK.

and there's only Buck up yet over there......... unless they have gone on a bear hunt .

GOOD MORNING !!!!

Received your PM and thanks. My local library can get any book in or out of print usually within a week so I'll see about getting the book you mentioned.

It's 9:50 AM Pacific Coast Time and 30 C in my back gardern already. By I:00PM it's forecast to be around 43 C

The days are gone when I can take these temperatures so will spend the rest of the day until evening in the house enjoying the central air conditioning

You need to get out of bed earlier Harley :-). I finished my round already. Birdied the 18th, proving once again there must be a Golf God.

Got up at six, helped the missus with a spot of shopping, pottered around the yard and shot the breezes with my neighbor for half an hour also helped him install his new electrically operated sun shade above his kitchen window.

Aint that enough?

GOOD MORNING !!!!

So it would have been 11AM when you saw me on line. I rose at 7:30 AM EDT. looked through the headlines, the obits, some of the ones dying are younger than I, the comics,Spiderman is still fighting the baddies, did the cryptogram, its a cure for alzeimers. Then put a Jimmy Dean croissant sandwich in the mike, defrosted for 1 and a half minutes, then full power 1000 watts for one minute. It is a croissant with a sausage patty, under a poached egg and a slice of american cheese. Delicious, but not too filling. Pauline had cut her one pound New York strip steak in half and left it for today. I got hungry a while ago so stole it and smothered it in Bernaise sauce. Went on to the laptop, booted up Microsoft Flight Sim 2004, selected my Hawker 850 with the Union Jack on its tail, set the altitude to 35000 feet, vertical speed to 1500 fpm, set flight plan from Van Nuys, California to Hartford, Connecticut, and its on its way at .84 mach while I write here on the desktop. Thought you might like to know what a typical day is like for a retiree on the East Coast. I also have Flight sim X which needs a game quality computer. The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 64 bit processor, with 4 GB of Ram and very fast. The desktop is a little slower, but good enough for this kind of work
