iffypop
Ello Bringy http://www.c90.org Also: c90 presents a wake-up call in the CIQ, Saturday 8th October Long-term heads-up! We're giving you a month of notice to ready yourselves for the carnage that's coming in October. Take a deep breath now before you read this... Ceephax Acid Crew (Breakin' Records) live Deranged rave nostalgia meets phuture analogue mayhem in the form of Andy Jenkinson. Vex'd (Planet µ/Subtext) live Sounbwoy retreat- serious mutant dubstep pressure alert! Hardcore for the 21st century. "My favourite artist at the moment is Ceephax Acid Crew. It's Andy Jenkinson, Tom Jenkinson's brother. Its ****ing wicked. It's funny because if people ask me "So, who's going to be the next big star of electronic music?" I always say him. But he only does a new track like every three months or so. I'm his biggest fan and I'm always raving upfront at all his gigs." BRINGITON
Thanks for that Iffy mate, there's all sorts of badness to wade through there. I've been having a peek at your site too, best get you a CD in the post asap. Although I'm a slack b'stard so that might take months!
iffypop
Wicked! Spread the word too.. we'll have as many Sheffield peeps on board as possible. Dont worry about the time, Phonetics took 9 months
BRINGITON
Ta mate, I've got a house CD all ready to roll (Lawnchair Generals, Inland Knights etc) so will bomb that over asap, but I wanna do a broken beatsy-typa thing too, so that can come your way upon completion. Should be with you within the next few months then!
iffypop
ooohhh man ABOUT TIME: Skream - Late Night Request Line has FINALLY got a release on promo.. I dunno if anyone follows this side of things, but this record was pressed onto a few dubs ages ago and became absolutely massive down in the big smoke, and you couldnt get your hands on it for love nor mothers. I think the delay might have been TEMPA records grabbing it for release on theirs. Its released on Monday, but only a very limited promo run.. http://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/192106-01.htm How exciting..
Bully_Beef
Morning Iffy. I think this was actually available at dubplate.net for ages (as a dubplate), which was a great website, but it's been shut down for the last 6 weeks. Been struggling to get my hands on any new stuff ever since, cos Juno's not too hot for dubstep... and well pricey.
iffypop
Yup yup, I first heard it on Dubplate.net, but its only a soundfile - I dont think you can actually order a lot of dub stuff on there. . Every time I tried I just got a 'not available yet' link Has it been shut down now?
iffypop
I have to stick up for Juno! About half of their Garage section is now dubstep and the SKREAM tune is £4.70! Beats Reflex's £7 'Imported.. from london' nonsense I'm just a big juno groupie really. I love the place
Bully_Beef
Well, to be fair, I do order a shizz-load of stuff from Juno, and they've always got some cracking releases in, but once they add the postage on, the old wallet takes a royal bumming.... Dubplate.net is apparently "under construction", so hopefully it will be less of a sticky mess when it re-opens (if it ever does). Reflex take the pizz, with their tattered, greasy-finger-marked, £8-a-pop "dubplates".
iffypop
You up to much at the weekend Bulleh? I cant wait until Dubplate.Net reopens, there's always stuff you cant find ANYWHERE else eh. I wonder who runs it?
