WhiteHawk
I bought a stereo a couple of months ago from Halfords and paid to have it fitted by them, it has all of a sudden stopped working though. It still plays CD/radio/MP3 player but theres either no sound at all, or you can hear the music but the vocals are very faint. The speakers are brand new and they're wired up properly so I know theres nothing wrong with them so it must be the stereo. Problem is though, I can't find my receipt, will I still be able to go back and get them to refit it without being charged?

If you paid by card, take your statement in. If you paid cash, ask them to trace the job. Be polite, but insistent if they try to fob you off and you will succeed. Thank you. Hopefully they'll be ok as it's horrible not having music in the car!!
