Lotusflower
I think i've done that walk - is it out by Padley Gorge? I didn't realise they were there until I felt about 3 climbing up my leg! Watching my 5 year old brother see and do new things, watching his face when he see's his first Alpaca and thinking its a hairy giraffee, very sweet. Yes Tess, I was introduced to the walk by King Eggy's School. It's between the end of Blackamoor and the drop down the hill to the station cafe...or if you come the other way a killer climb. The school used it as their charity walk but I believe they don't do it anymore. Just after the ant hills you come to the top of the valley that overlooks Grindleford railway station nestling at the bottom. That view always makes me gaze in wonder and awe. Suffragette1
Watching my son (and the rest of his year group) in his end of Junior School Leavers' Assembly (they all seem to take on a Britain's Got Talent format these days) this morning. Although I did shed several tears.

RaveyDavey
My small pleasure today is doing a "white's" wash and sniggering as I watch a red pair of socks appearing now and then in the drum. She won't ask me to do women's work again !!
