Treatment
I agree with this suggestion; try being a mental health volunteer for a while, you'll soon be feeling more content. That sounds interesting, but do you not have to be qualified in that field ?
slimsid2000
I have recently suddenly started to hate my job (only three days a week which I could do in 30 minutes), and contemporaneously started to hate my house, which is a nice big secluded one. I've also lost interest in my cars. Suggestions please, (other than change jobs and move house). become a celibate monk and take up a life of hermitude on a romeote Scotish island

alex3659
Holiday might be an answer - I haven't had one since August 2001, never thought about that. I can just jump on a 'plane on a day's notice. You can jump on a plane in a hours notice I have done it. Get to the airport ask for a standby flight and get on it. A little adventure might recharge your batteries for everyday life. AUTOBOY58
Take a working holiday to a third world country and help those less fortunate than most. This should open your eyes to newer horizons.

epiphany
I think you should throw a huge party in your "nice big secluded" house and invite all of us. Come on mate, are you really expecting anyone to be sympathetic with what you've just said? Big house, cars, 3 day work week. Perhaps it is worse than you are making out? Is there any way you can freelance your work?

Treatment
Is there any way you can freelance your work? I do a bit of freelance work already, through a company that I formed. I'm not looking for sympathy, just ideas, I tend to overlook the obvious because that's the way that I am.
