harvey19
Does that somehow magically change the fact that they get things done by killing people and threatening to kill people? Why do you think soldiers are given rifles ? Of course soldiers kill people but only a majority of them are called upon to do so.
sharrowman
Whatever the reasons individuals might have for joining the military, they are cannon fodder in support of marklet expansion. Do it!

flamingjimmy
no its not a joke. Wow, I really thought you were joking. I guess I'll have to make a proper response then, you seriously think that when the army kill people and threaten to kill people it's just an occupational hazard? And not a serious and vitally important part (I would say THE most) of whatever it is they're doing at the time? If they didn't kill people and threaten to kill people they would serve no purpose whatsoever, they would be useless.Consequently it is entirely fair to say that the killing is absolutely central to their jobs. It is absolutely ridiculous to call it an occupational hazard, it is their primary function.

Dont simple as that I realise that life for an infantryman is different to that of a tradesman which I was. Thought of transferring ?
Forumosaurus
If I had to - Yes. Not by choice though. Well...yeah because you'd have to, obviously. If you had to you wouldn't get a choice would you.
