Your position within a society does not alter your attitude toward it. As I have moved along the way in this world, I still look back at my fellow travellers, and urge them onwards, and I still look forward to greater achievements. How does this stop me from being a socialist? As I have said before, people who give up their beliefs for brass, never had any beliefs to begin with.
