My new favourite restaurant in Sheffield. A strange but lovely ambience and as for the food - it's different yet delicious. I had a rib eye steak on Friday with an amazing rosemary, garlic and brandy sauce. Properly yum. That was my second visit and I'll be there again soon.

 

I have a totally selfish reason for posting this, I'd love for Portofino to survive the recession and stay open. I was gutted when my previous fave (543 on Eccy Road - anyone remember that?) closed.

 

So visit, be delighted and keep one of Sheffield's unsung culinary gems afloat.
