melthebell
tbh id personally stay away from hartlepool and visit some of the more scenic places down the east coast redcar, saltburn, staithes, runswick bay, sandsend, whitby, robinhoods bay, scarborough especially if you drive, you could stay somewhere like whitby and venture out north and south, one day go one way, one day go the other then theres the walks on the cliffs etc, beautifull scenery tbh i dont know much about hartlepool but it always comes across as a poorer mans middlesbrough, stockton an industrial town on the coast funnily one of the kids friends went for a break there too, mustve suddenly become popular

LibertyBell
ridley scott was inspired by the steelworks at redcar and based the city in blade runner on the sky line.
