City hall seating question.

I basically want to know where are the best seats to book as i've never been there before.

This will be for the Kate Rusby concert in December.

centre circle front row front stalls is always good try to avoid side seats as a lot have restricted view

 

im presuming the concerts in the main hall (oval)

I always try to sit in the centre of the stalls, about halfway back. The sound from there is usually excellent and you are far enough away to see the whole stage in comfort.

Best seats I had were about stalls row S near the sound desk in the middle, for Chris Rea. Sat at the front of stalls and front of the circle and although the front row of the circle in the middle is better for viewing the sound was not as good.

 

As for restricted view, a lot of tickets say this when they are probably only restricted view if you are watching a play and are perfectly find for bands.

Remember the stalls slightly slope so you do still get a good view at the rear.

I always ask for row H stalls as this is the front row of the 2nd section so theres all the room and noone has to move if you need the toilet!
