medicgirl
Oh that's exciting!! I love Browns! I like Haha too though. Shame Browns couldn't have replaced one of the many crappy places rather than one of the few good ones ;-)

Venkman
I've never been to a Brown's - as a chain, does it welcome people who just to drink in the same way Ha Ha does? While I've never been a fan of the food at Ha Ha, I've always liked its atmosphere as a bar, plus being able to sit outside in the summer is fantastic. Is Brown's similar? Or is it more of an eating place?

I've been in a couple of Browns, eaten in the Edinburgh one and just for drinks in the Butlers Wharf one, decent food and good bar atmosphere
Venkman
Great. Just realised my 'does it welcome people who just want to drink' line makes me sound like a right alcoholic Look forward to giving it a try then!
Bulgarian
Stick to Wetherspoons then cheapskate Ermmm, I've no problem with paying good money for good food, I've been to the Mayfair "branch". BTW I've never been in a Wetherspoons in my life, thank god.
Bonjon
BTW I've never been in a Wetherspoons in my life, thank god. Nowt wrong with certain Wetherspoons, down to earth pubs, that are not full of stuck up tossers and 10 bob millionaires.
