alternageek
It looks as if you're right about Browns - I've spotted an advert for a sous-chef on Gumtree. That's great news We had dinner in there last night and the bar man confirmed this with a regular. Apparently its set to close around the beginning of March and re-open around 27/

melissa98
Nowt wrong with certain Wetherspoons, down to earth pubs, that are not full of stuck up tossers and 10 bob millionaires. just chavs and slappers.
karent2003
I ate there last summer. Food was good but service wasn't. To be fair it was really busy but I feel because Iwent with my boyfriend and were quite young they didn't think we would tip therefore they forgot about us as gave bad service. Therefore we didn't tip and haven’t gone back. Having being a waitress I ALWAYS tip and this is the first I time i haven't
swordfish1
BTW I've never been in a Wetherspoons in my life, thank god. So you have no reason to say thank God. If you'd been to one or more and hated the bars/ the clientele/ the beers I could understand. To have never been but to say thank God is ridiculous.
