beemerchez
Just been to dumpit on moonshine lane with car and a very small trailer.(smallest) with contents of shed (had a clear out) and got turned away apparently you have to have permit.a 1 off or 12 visits. now you put the stuff in a 4x4 in boot and take it but not in a trailer. so now putting the stuff in the car boot 4x4 to take it again the thing is you don't want this rubbish in your car boot do you so if you are planning a trip to the dump. take it in your car boot. mike84
This has beenthe case for a while, although slightly confusing there is a big sign and lots of info on the veolia website about it. Not fair to call him a jobsworth when he was infact doing his job correctly. If he hadn't he could have probably faced some sort of action from his manager. evildrneil
If it's anything like the dumpit site on Blackstock Road there are big signs all over telling you what vehicls are allowed without a permit and which aren't - and have been for many months. Perhaps the title should be more accurately say "dumpit site worker helps user who can't read and thinks the rules don't apply to him"?

Shipshape
Sounds the perfect way to encourage fly-tipping. When will they ever learn? Fly tipping is very much on the increase because of increasingly stringent tipping rules which are very rigidly interpreted and applied by the jobsworths who run the tipping sites. Problems will always ocur when you give idiots a little power. Another good example of giving power to idots is traffic wardens. They cause MASSIVE problems.
