charlie9865
Very nice carvery, I love going there because the food is great and the kids can play. I even had a sit down meal there for 30 of us for my daughters naming ceremony.
dieselbabe
It is very nice food, we try to go twice a month with family and it is always busy on a Sunday when we go.

bobbyt64
Has anyone been there for the cavery? What's it like? X Sorry but wouldn't recommend it at all, there was another thread about the place recently and a lot of other people didn't rate the quality. Somebody recommended the Drawbridge at Kimberworth, but we haven't yet had a chance to visit. As for the place at Ecclesfield, give it a miss. The food is frozen and then warmed up, so isn't fresh and if it's not heated up correctly it's usually cold in the middle. A lot of people go there, but that's through lack of choice in Sheffield, than it being a good eatery.
nikki-red
I agree with Bobbyt64 Im afraid, Ive been a few times and not been very impressed with the food, the only reason we went back was because of the play area. The Drawbridge is much better foodwise.
jaffacake
I love Meadow farm, its at Nether Lane, Ecclesfield, its always really busy on Sundays. Also got a sister pub out Dinnington way, Monksbridge Farm, and one near Lakeside village at Doncaster. I think its about £8 ish for a carvery, do a normal full menu aswell if you dont like carvery. DeBilde23
Cavery is crap at Ecclesfield, all warmed up rubbish. Frozen Yokshire puds and you are only allowed 1 and that is tiny. Try Toby Cavery at Dodworth, lovely home cooked food and as many yorkshire's as you can manage.
