Aids was unheard of in those days, so all blood was gratefully recieved. The guy has a special badge from the transfusion service to honour his giving. That's it AJ, we all rightly condemn parents that don't harness their children into car seats, yet the majority of people I see riding bikes are not helmet wearers, and the chances of suffering serious injury are just as high, as your Mum's friend discovered.
