NHS Staff criticised as "lazy, unproductive, obstinate, millitant & agressive"

Recommended Posts

According to the Star tonight, David Forster policy & strategy director at Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust criticised the NHS in an online discussion (Facebook) for employing "too many who are lazy, unproductive, obstinate, millitant, aggressive at every turn". He went on to claim some employees "couldn't secure a job anywhere outside the bloated public service where mediocrity is too often shielded by weak & unprincipled HR policies"

Now why would he say that?

This sad man is talking absolute tosh.

I have never met anyone like that in the NHS, the complete opposite is usually the case.

A few less like him, and a few more people actually doing something would be the greatest help.

If his idea of leadership is snide, carping, unfounded critism, then he would better employed cleaning out the macerators.

It may teach him to keep his mouth shut.

Because Cleggy & Campo want to axe thousands of jobs in the North?

x

Well you would think if the 'real' management didn't agree with what he said, they would have stated he's been put on 'gardening leave'. Most employment contracts require that you obtain consent before making a statement about a business to the media. Facebook, through legal test cases, has now been found to be media!

If they don't seperate themselves from this man....one can only fear what you say above may be all too true!

I would be very carefull about that statement and I would hope you do not finish up in A & E.

If you think that then you are very narrow minded.

A policy director at Yorkshire Ambuulance Service needs to get from behind his desk and spend some time in a hospital and see what hard work our Nurses do.

The man's a fool and is paid to much.

Well he was employed by the NHS so he's obviously judging others by his own standards. It's a real shame that the ConDem coalition have ring fenced spending on the NHS. He's exactly the king of waste of space they should be getting rid of.
