Remember dressing a certain way that adults found strange or scruffy whilst still struggling to find some respect and acceptance from your peers? Have a good look at the scruffy adolesents today. Do you see your younger self staring back at you? Yes there are some foul-mouthed disrespectful thugs of that age knocking about. Of course there was none of that when you were younger was there? bigsteve Posted July 27, 2010 Share Posted July 27, 2010 It seems to me that Teenagers today are no different to how they were in the 80's (when i was one) or in the 60's. What has changed is the fact that when we were teens if we did something wrong (broke the law,or acted like a dick) then either the Police,parents or other adults would be down on us like a ton of bricks. Today 'do the crime and get no time' Such as the scum that 'happy slapped' that old man with his 3yr old grand daughter, im sorry but 3 and a half and 4 and a half years are not enough for taking a mans life even if it wasnt on purpose.
