Is 42" too big for a tv?? Do you have one? Regret it or love it?

Yes I have virgin xl package and know only some are HD! Maybe u could help with the set up? I have it on high def HD and 720, is this right? It says congratulations u are now set up for HD etc.

 

Dis and Nat geo looks great but I don't think the difference is amazing!

I think 720 tellies are known as HD-Ready, but Full HD is 1080.

Virgin man put it in 720 but I'll change it to 1080 and see what difference it makes x

I've put it to hidef hdmi and 1080 wide. It is much clearer than normal tv but I was probably expecting more! X

I just played with the settings on my tele until the picture looked it's best.

I found that the back light was too bright by default and I had to change quite a few other settings before it looked it's best, sharpness and contrast and dyamnic this and that. I'm certainly no expert, like I said, I just kept playing until it looked good.
