Pinkers
Hello there, I'm moving to Sheffield in a couple of weeks, Hunter's Bar, have played netball casually for the past 5 years at uni and for a local team (in Newcastle) and I'd really like to keep it going...we played a few competitive matches but mainly just for fitness/training, I'd like to know about anything like this, or anything at all that you think I might be able to follow up! happytravels
There's a training session held at EIS on Tuesdays 6pm. The scheduling may change so it'd be worth checking before you go. There are currently 2 teams entering the league from this session so I'm sure they'd be room for 1 more

Laura
so can you get a team together and enter into a league then? do you have to be professional? were like pinkers, wanting to play for fun and fitness! does anyone know how to go about entering a team? happytravels
The deadlines for entering a new team have past. But if you head over to the training session one week you can either just train for fun or you can find out about the different teams playing and maybe join up with one of them. happytravels
Oh should add...definitely no need to be professional. Most people there are like minded, haven't played since school and just want to have fun
