jaypen
Can anyone tell me their views on the white rose at Handsworth.
sedith
You get what you pay for, simple as that. Its cheap enough but if its the healthy option you're after, look elsewhere. Also a few suspect characters hanging about the in the bar area and th Bar staff are bit vacant and disinterested in the job.

Farslad
You mean the boozer? I live the other end of Handsworth so have never been in. It looks quite popular though, the beer garden is always full the moment the sun comes out.

aardvark6535
It reminds me of the old "Berni Inns" of the seventies - Quite good value for money. Prefered it when it was more of a resturant (some years ago). The staff do seem a little disintrested.

The outside terrace is full of shaven headed 18 stone blokes stripped to the waist at the weekend when the sun is out. As other people have said, its OK, but if you're taking the wife out for dinner, look elsewhere.

I have lost half a stone, keep my shirt on and only go when it's raining these days
