aelfheah
I love curries, who doesn't? But ordering on the telephone can be frustrating, manners-wise? Do many Curry house staff have any? A typical call, today, went "Oh, hello, I'd like to order a meal for delivery, please" "Where are ya?" "Sheffield 7- Nether Edge" (p-a-u-s-e) "We don't deliver there" "Your driver has been here 4 times previously!" (p------a----------u--------s--------e) "OK, £1 delivery charge, address?..." Manners helping a business in a recession?
bobbyt64
There's a Curry takeaway on Leppings Lane and the owner is the most ignorant person on the phone ever. I've never heard such bad manners in my life from a person offering a service. Not sure they're still there, but food used to give me dodgy stomach too. Best thing to do is to take your business elsewhere and splash bad businesses on here, so they eventually lose their business.

aelfheah
Bobby, I thought about that but, a) I wasn't sure if I was allowed to. b) The food was darned good! Is this endemic of society in general, when using a service?
the_rudeboy
Use a different one if you think the service is poor.
