alchresearch
Of the minority of drivers that claim never to exceed the speed limit, imo only a minority of those are telling the truth and never exceed the speed limit. And how do you know this?

mj.scuba
Yeah, but based on what? Fact, or that you've convinced yourself it must be true? Well, anecdotal. I have never ever met anybody that claims they never ever exceed the speed limit. Imo, anybody that does, is either lying (knowingly or not), or a Saint. mj.scuba
Opponents of speed cameras are always depicted as selfish, swivel- eyed Mr Toads, Top Gear-addicted petrolheads who think they have the right to drive as fast as they like, wherever they like, and are hell-bent on mowing down children on school crossings. - Richard Littlejohn, Daily Mail, 28th July 2010 Wow, this guy got it right, it's like he can predict the future. spindrift
Obeying the speed limit is a rudimentary skill in driving competently. You must hang around with incomeptent drivers.

spindrift
Not obeying the speed limit would mean you would fail your driving test. It is incomepetent, so are a lot of other things, but this thread's about speeding so stop posting straw men.
