GennaPrior
is toothpaste classed as food then Im not sure, (My husband told me) I think it is! Best thing to do is give your teeth a good brush after you have eaten just before the break finishes in the morning and then you only have to wash your mouth out when you perform w'udu! (but be carefull i nearly swallowed the water today. I have been told that i can buy miswaks (or something like that) and you can clean your teeth with that. And to be honest with allah's help and my will power i have mannaged all day without anything touching my mouth. (It is also the first day i have woke up without brushing my teeth). Doing ramadan for 1 day was hard so thank Allah for the water that he gave us i really appreciate it. (now) Good luck for everyone doing ramadan. You can brush your teeth during Ramadan, just don't swallow the toothpaste (you aren't supposed to swallow it anyway, I dont think it's good for you).
