Dr Afzal
As the title, and aimed at keen Guinness drinkers. Is there anywhere in Sheff that can come anywhere near how the black liquied flows and tastes in Dublin? The thick cream head (almost like the liquid in the top of my radiator due to the head gasket leak). Sticking to the glass right to the lass drop. For anyone who has never drank Guinness in Dublin, you are simply letting the best in life pass you by. muddycoffee
No, you can never get guinness in England like it tastes in Ireland. However as a drinker of local guinness I have come to the conclusion that it tastes the best in a pub that looks after it properly and that sells a lot of it. Places to try for the best guinness in sheffield are Dog and Partridge on Trippet Lane, where a large proportion of the customers only drink guinness, and also Fagans on Broad Lane which is similar. happyhippy
Thirded by me as well. The Dog & Partridge and Fagan's have been well known watering holes for we Irish for decades. It's even served with the old 'top-up' in the Dog as well
Ousetunes
Another shout for Fagan's here, where they use a knife to give you a clean head!
