*Twinkle*
Well I wouldn't say Ponds Forge, thats for sure. I prefer Eckington. Its fairly quiet and its also quite cheap too! (A family ticket is just £5.35)
Geoff
What do you mean by "best"? Ponds Forge certainly has Sheffield's largest swimming pool, but it can get very busy.
RPG
Ponds Forge: Good long pool, as well as "funpool" Eckington: Quite good, i used to go there as a nipper, cheap too Dronsfield: Apprently good, and cheap
Lickszz
Sheaf Valley was the best I have ever saw in Sheffield. What a shame they demolished it.
Banksia
We are coming over to Sheffield, UK in July for a two month holiday. As my husband and I swim laps several times a week and want to continue our exercise regime. can you tell me the best pool for us to attend ? Also how long is a session and what is the cost. Sam Miguel
I go to Heeley. It's old-fashioned with the old changing-rooms around the side of the pool, but there's something about the place that I like.

Jamie
Yeah ... I used to go to the heeley pool on my way to work in the mornings ... really like that place ... it was always hot and streamy there (i don't mean female lifeguards) ... very quaint and charming old building ... very nice. I now go to ponds forge ... isn't quite the same !!! ... but the pool is nice and big and deep ... and seems to have about 10% the chlorine content of the heeley pool.
