Iran. Talking nuclear because we fear the vacuum in Iraq ?

Recommended Posts

As we have been looking for a way out of Iraq since the citizens in the west realized going in to start with was a mistake, our Governments been bigging up Iran's 'peaceful' looking for energy, because they fear the Iranians filing the vacuum when we leave and thus doing us out of the oil we actually went in for in the first place ?

As you can see I am sceptical as to why we went in originally. We have since then been looking for a way out, and Iran is sat on the door step more than capable militarily and logistically of walking in and doing American companies of oil contracts that could take them way into this century.

Now even before Bush left office his war machine was trying to butter us up for an Iranian war and Obama has had to keep up the rhetoric because like all politicians is still reliant on the pyramid of Government and public servants he sits upon.

Iran like any nation whether sat on vast wealth's of oil or not, has to look at ways to take them forward into the future reliant on power from other sources that are not going to run out and be more sustainable. This would seem like a logical step to anyone even here in the UK, but because of the fear from Israel about Islamic countries, its looked on in a negative light.

Do people not have the right to nuclear energy if they so wish ?

Boot on the other foot, Do people not fear say the likes of our Trident program or Israeli nuclear arms ?

It seems to me like its all about the fear and lack of trust.

If from the off we had opened up to Iran and others we could have settled the problems in the region where Iraq was concerned, had joint forces running the place and then even left now without fear knowing the likes of 'our allies' the Iranians there to police the area and the oil from all nations could have ran free so to speak.
