Experts call for David Kelly 'suicide' inquiry

Recommended Posts

This lead to an unnessecary war in which thousands of people lost their lives. We should be outraged, but Tony Blair didn't even resign.

We should also be outraged at how Kelly was treated and humiliated by politicians, the BBC etc.

I was even suspicious about that bloke that came on the news saying he was his mate and for people to let it drop, but he kept referring to him as 'David Kelly'.

Any mate of mine just calls me by my first name or nick name, they never feel the need to add my surname when talking about me.

Just David would have done if he really was his mate,we all would have known who he was talking about, that's who the story was about.

I think you forget how huge the sexing up of the dossier was. People didn't believe that was possible either.

We have become so used to being manipulated and lied to it no longer provokes the outrage it should.

A good example here of us been told what to think.

From yesterdays Sun

Out in open

GOVERNMENT is at its best when it is open and frank.

Take yesterday's release of secret medical documents about the death of weapons inspector David Kelly.

They showed that the man who was behind the claim that Labour "sexed up" the dossier on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction killed himself.

We know that because ministers overturned an order to keep the papers secret for seventy years.

Now only the most obsessed conspiracy theorist will still believe poor Dr Kelly was murdered.

The vast majority will welcome the transparency and straight talking.

Just as they always do.

I can't get my (foil) hat on. How stupid do they think we are ?

i don't know weather to laugh or cry.

That wouldn't be hard though.

Have to agree. A man who is causing considerable embarrasment for the giovernment - by leaking material demonstrating they deliberately misled the country in order to to start a war - suddenly commits suicide. There are massive irregularities in the 'inquest' with unprecedented rulings that evidence should be kept secret, including the details of the post mortem. This decision is only reversed after years of pressure. What could possibly be suspicious about any of that? Crazy conspuiracy theorists!

The post mortem wasn't kept secret from the Hutton enquiry, including counsel for the BBC etc, it was recommended by Hutton to not be disclosed for 70 years to protect Kelly's family. All this is well documented - the Hutton report & the details of the hearing in it's entirety is still available online. Read his wifes testimony to see what state he was in.

So the government arranged to kill him in a way that took into account an undiagnosed cardiac condition? Wouldn't it have been easier to just knock him down or put pictures of child porn on his computer?

Do you think dr Kelly was taking his heart condition into account when he made such a feeble but effective attempt to kill himself ?

If he really wanted to die surely he could've come up with a more effective method,Or maybe it was a cry for help.
