Keith Rich
I may be naturally Tory, because there are certain parts of UK culture I would preserve (this definately does not include rich bankers, Fergie, scumsucking nobility, bent politicians, or those out to feather their own nests at the expense of the hardworking nonentities which are the majority, I also would have something to say on immigrants who come to this country to be be permanently on benefits) I believe things should be fair, birth and parental weath or status should not matter when assessing individual worth. Those who cannot work should be able to contribute in whatever way they can in creating an equal'ish society. I cannot get on with todaysTory/Liberal ideals. As for Labour, well right now in the economic crisis my opinion is unprintable. I am thinking of joining outside parties. I have a choice of communist or the far right, neither which appeal, anyone know any others, no I am not into the bouncings of Yogies nor anything really strange! Any ideas for my next vote? What about the monster raving loony party? Opps my mistake they are in no 10 at the moment.

I don't think you are naturally Tory. To be a Tory means being greedy, arrogant, stupid and hate the less fortunate. It always amazes me that a few people from Sheffield support this party of the rich. They obviously don't realise that the Tories hate anyone from ooop North with a vengence. Well I suppose you could be considered less fortunate going by your blinkered views, your unquestioned support for the chav party, limited understanding of UK politics and the literally planetoid sized chip on your shoulder

Instead of jumping overboard from your "naturally Tory" party, why not continue the fight within your own "natural" party. Change your party from within rather than looking for the easy way out. Naturally Tory? I think you are naturally a socialist, as that is our mantra 'To each according to his needs, from each according to his ability' NB to all socialist haters: skivers and neer do wells are not allowed into the frame, everyone has to contribute as best they can, for decent and equal reward. Naw, all the borders have gone now, there's no Ideals any more just parties that want to get in power.
artisan
Naw, all the borders have gone now, there's no Ideals any more just parties that want to get in power. Socialism is a faith, and a state of mind. Party politics does not enter into it. It can only be achieved by people mature enough to accept that status and wealth is not the be all and end all of existence. While the aforementioned are important, they should not be your lifes aim. As Abou Ben Adhem said "I pray thee, then, write me as one who loves his fellow men." That is that what puts us above our murderous enemies at present.
