Treatment
I've never understood why a chip isn't installed in engine management systems that allows engines to be shut down using a masterkey and a radio signal. There is an American ? system called Blackjack that lets the vehicle get away, but if the correct code is not inputted within a certain time it kills the engine. AJ sheffield
couldn't a marksman shoot them from the police helicopter, on a fairly deserted stretch of road? Or tranquiliser dart, then, if we're going to be overly precious about killing them? They should be shot with freeze dried bobbar along with everyone in their immediate family. [Matt]
I've never understood why a chip isn't installed in engine management systems that allows engines to be shut down using a masterkey and a radio signal.Because as a biker myself i can tell you that doing so is bloody dangerous. Cyclone
Several options that stop it being dangerous, once a kill signal is sent it could wait until the speed registers <2 mph then kill the engine for example, or if the speed is higher it could progressively reduce throttle response over 60 seconds until it's at zero throttle but still running.
