banjodeano
I have just registered with the tps for my partner, she was tired of receiving nuisance calls, but now she has wondered if any potential employer will be barred from calling her, she does part time work with various agencies
Strix
the tps isn't a barring service, it just removes you from the databases they call you from ... in theory
Cynic
I don't know how effective it is any more either, as most cold calls seem to come from overseas. They don't have to stick to the rules of the TPS. It wouldn't barr anyone from calling you though. As already said it just means they shouldn't even try. *Wallace*
We had lots of the silent ones and the recorded message ones signed up with TPS and now get hardly any,it does take about a month to fully kick in though.
meekaz
We registered with TPS and had it so you cant get through to us if you with hold your number. Saying that we still get them and the cable company are no help at all saying its nothing to do with them. Well they are happy to take out money to block them but they then still let them ring us
