Mercenary
I am travelling from Stansted with Ryanair and have checked in online. Can anyone tell me what now happens with my suitcases? Do I need to queue in the regular check in queue so they can take the luggage??
Grandad.Malky
I thought those that checked in on line only had hand luggage. Not Stansted I know but ……….. Gatwick Airport Online Check-in - restrictions ... Most online check-ins open 24 hours before the flight departure time, and is available to those only travelling with hand luggage. If this is the case you'll avoid the check-in queues completely. If you are travelling with suitcases you won't be able to check-in online. Mercenary
Thanks. Would I need to pay extra to check in a suitcase?
julesmarie
Thanks. Would I need to pay extra to check in a suitcase? Hi Mercenary, flew with Ryanair in June, my friend and I both paid for luggage online,( as a tip we also paid extra for premeir boarding what was fab first in queue no waiting). But on checking in you are allowed up to 10kg, and if your case is fitsinto the size guide checks they have, you can just take it on board free of charge, so I was gutted as I had paid £30 return for nothing. Hope that helps
OOmpa
Thanks. Would I need to pay extra to check in a suitcase? If you have already checked in online you should have already paid the relevant fees. You will just need to drop your suitcase off at the 'bag drop desk' to be put on the plane. All information is here http://www.ryanair.com/en/questions/airport-and-online-check-in or here http://www.ryanair.com/en/questions/information-regarding-online-check-in-airport-check-in-and-checked-baggage-fees I have flown with Ryanair and checked in online but just took hand luggage on the plane with me, up to 10kgs in a small case.
