HotPhil
I used to be very keen canoeist before I moved to Sheff a few years back. Can you tell me where Norton pool is? And what the fees are etc? Would someone be able to lend me a boat until I can decide if I've got time/money/arm strength enough to take it up again properly? scooter1969
Hi Phil, Norton Pool is located at meadowhead Non members sessions are £3 for the hour, members £2 you get instruction for as much or as little of that time as you wish. There are boats, paddles, and decks available for use there. For club members we have boats and some kit available for use on club trips. Membership is £12 for the year, the first pool sesion of each month is free to members so you could in theory get your membership back if you only attended 6 pool sessions per year. Check out the website for programme and contact details. Cheers Wayne Scott ( scoot)

Skatiechik
Hmmm tempting, haven't been kayaking or canoeing in a long long time. Might need to lose some weight first though before I get back into it. I guess all the grading structure will have changed from when I used to do it a while back? I was bordering 3*on both Canadian and Kayaking when I used to it back in 96. Christ I just realised that is 9 years ago Where does the time go!
