"Most muslims are terrorists" a racist lie.

Maybe everyone in Afghanistan, Iraq or Pakistan but no ones in any clear danger over here!

At least not at the moment, wait until the percentage increases. History shows it's the same in any host country.

And that's the point of the thread...who are "themselves"? every Muslim? all Muslims? a radical few?

There's something you're you're not picking up on. Where's you mom? They are a danger to everyone, even themselves.

Don't see the point of this thread. Generalising about Muslims and terrorism whilst restricting the theatre of activity to the US excludes the many and ongoing acts of terrorism perpetrated by Islamic extremists in many other parts of the world and is a bit of a dead end argument.

My perception is that most victims of Islamic terrorism are fellow Muslims and certainly nothing to do with race, although in places like Iraq and Pakistan there seems to be a tribal dimension to the atrocities.

It's hard to get away from the conclusion that in the Muslim world terrorism is seen as a justifiable means to a political end no matter who is killed and maimed in the process, and it's equally hard to imagine how the process can be halted, never mind prevented.

Your post is far too measured and sensible to warrant much of a response but I wanted to repeat it for truth in any case.

Point taken about Madrid and the Basque nationalists, but the mother of all terrorist acts in Spain in 2004 are thought, by the intelligence community, to have had Islamist participation.

There's a gulf of difference between thinking and knowing...many on here think Muslims and radical Muslims are one in the same, their not..in the same way all who live in the Basque region are not all Basque separatists .
