The piece says Pakistanis were 'outraged' by the incident, besides it's the kind of mob violence and vigilantism that many on this forum would support. What's very worrying is a police force that looks on. Indeed, like prison officers who are applauded for turning a blind eye to certain inmates catching a beating. You're quite right though, it is very worrying and the officers concerned should be condemned as accessories to murder if they did indeed watch and do nothing.
