Is it possible to fit power steering to a car that doesn't already have it?

Just sell it & get something with power steering. I know it's not what you want to here, but if there are problems who are you going to get your spares from on a bespoke job. You've got rack, steering box, pump, track rods & track rod ends etc the list goes on. What you also have to take into account is that it runs from a belt powered by the engine. If it's a small engine that may well be the reason it wasn't fitted on that model in the first place as it saps engine power.

If the same sized engine in your model range has it (& yours is not fitted with it as an option choice) that would be easier as you maybe able to source parts from a scrap car. If the same sized engine in your model range doesn't then it could be a nightmare to fit!
