pcspb1
Ok, I'm knocking on a bit, I've seen my fair share of comets, meteors, 'shooting stars' in my lifetime, but I have just seen the most amazing streak of burning mass zip from North to South in the night sky, it appeared to be quite low - so much so, my jaw dropped and remained so for a moment... and the detail was excellent, although it was gone in a jiffy. It moved faster than anything this world could produce. It was blue, kind of gas blue (like on your gas cooker!) and trailed by a sparkling red/orange fiery tail. It's things like this that really amaze me, usually not one to make a fuss, but man, that was so cool! Anyone else see it? 'bout 5 minutes ago... Darth Vader
I saw something similar, about a year ago to this day probably, on the east coast. Thankfully, someone else also witnessed it with me.
artisan
They really are something to see arnt they, I have seen two in my life. The last one a few years ago was spectactacular, brilliant blue white, with a long trailer, it split up into numerous pieces which all just faded away, as they burned up.
