Is it right that the Government are punishing the poor the most?

Imagine you're the leader of a country.

Would you not want to get a private room for you/your wife rather than be on the ward where you may well get hassle about your job etc instead of enjoying the moment with wide/new sprog?

You have an almost poetic way with words. :hihi:

Indeed I would. But I would have her transferred to a private hospital and not expect a single room in an NHS hospital - they are very scarce and someone who has a clinical need for a single room will have had to go without.

Cleaned the hospitals & kept superbugs at bay?

You will find that there has been great reoganisation in the way hospitals are cleaned, and maintained in recent years.

It is all back in house, and we have 'matrons' once more running the show.

The contract cleaners introduced by the previous tory shambles of Thatcher and Major have gone.

Wards and Theatres are clean, and bottomed on regular ppm basis.

Extensive checks are carried out, daily and weekly to ensure spotless conditions.

'Bugs' can never be eradicated, but if we keep up our offensive against them, we can keep the risk to a minimum.

This will not be done by handing the job to contracors who have no loyalty or pride, or by cutting down on staff who do such such hard sterling work.

So he only developed comprehension post age 17 then. :loopy:

No he is a result of his upbringing.

To have that frame of mind he must have been brought up in a household biased in favour of a tory government.

It is not his fault.

We must all take some responsibility for the way our children turn out.
